About OrganisationThe Law Commission of India is an executive body established by an order of the Government of India, undertaking research in law and review of existing laws for making reforms.
Eligibility & Qualifications• Students in 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year LL.B.
• Students in 2nd to 5th year of a 5-year LL.B.
• LL.M. students and legal research scholars.
Mode & DurationOn-Site (New Delhi) (Hybrid/remote working options may be considered at the discretion of the competent authority).
Duration: 4 to 8 Weeks
Key Responsibilities• Conducting legal research on existing/proposed legislations.
• Assisting in drafting research papers and consultation reports.
• Submitting a short research paper or digitized presentation at the end of the internship.
Stipend/CompensationNo Stipend (Interns must bear their own travel/accommodation costs).
RequirementsInterns must carry their own laptops. A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to receive the completion certificate.
