Section-A/खण्ड-अ

(Very Short Answer Questions) (अति लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न)

Note: Answer all the five questions. Each question carries 4 marks. Very short answer is required not exceeding 75 words. 4 x 5 = 20

नोट: सभी पाँच प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 4 अंकों का है। अधिकतम 75 शब्दों में अति लघु उत्तर अपेक्षित है।

1. Explain the Law of Supply.पूर्ति के नियम को समझाइये।
2. Do Banks really create credit?क्या बैंक वास्तव में साख मुद्रा का निर्माण करते हैं?
3. Is Economics a science or an art?अर्थशास्त्र एक विज्ञान है अथवा कला?
4. What do you mean by Public Enterprises?सार्वजनिक उपक्रम से आपका क्या आशय है?
5. What is meant by Capital and Labour Intensive Techniques?पूँजी एवं श्रम-प्रधान तकनीक से आप क्या समझते हैं?

Note: Answer any two questions out of the following three questions. Each question carries 10 marks. Short answer is required not exceeding 200 words. 10 x 2 = 20

नोट: निम्नलिखित तीन प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं दो प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 10 अंकों का है। अधिकतम 200 शब्दों में लघु उत्तर अपेक्षित हैं।

1. What do you understand from Income Elasticity of Demand? How we can measure income elasticity of demand.मांग की आय लोच क्या है? माँग की आय लोच मापने की विधियाँ बताइये।
2. What are the main problems of Small Scale Industries in India?भारत में लघु उद्योगों की क्या समस्यायें हैं?
3. What are the causes of Population Increase in India?भारत में जनसंख्या वृद्धि के कारण बताइये?

(Detailed Answer Questions) (विस्तृत उत्तरीय प्रश्न)

Note: Answer any three questions out of the following five questions. Each question carries 20 marks. Answer is required in detail. 20 x 3 = 60

नोट: निम्नलिखित पाँच प्रश्नों में से किन्हीं तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिये। प्रत्येक प्रश्न 20 अंकों का है। विस्तृत उत्तर अपेक्षित है।

1. Explain the various forms of Banks.बैंकों के विभिन्न स्वरूपों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
2. Define ‘Consumer’s Surplus’. Explain the practical difficulties in the measurement of consumer’s surplus.’उपभोक्ता की बचत’ की परिभाषा दीजिए। ‘उपभोक्ता की बचत की माप में व्यावहारिक कठिनाइयों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
3. Discuss the Paretian condition of general optimum.पैरेटो की सामान्य कल्याण की इष्टतम दशाओं का विवेचन कीजिये।
4. What are the main objectives of Economic planning in India?भारत में आर्थिक नियोजन के प्रमुख उद्देश्य बताइये।
5. Discuss the genesis of the crisis of Public sector in India. Is disinvestment a panacea for resolving the crisis?भारत में सार्वजनिक उपक्रमों की समस्यायें है। क्या विनिवेश इस संकट से छुटकारा दिलाने हेतु एक अचूक औषधि है?
