About OrganisationThe Victim Advocacy Project (VAP) at NLU Delhi is a justice-focused initiative aimed at strengthening victims’ access to the criminal justice system through structured legal representation from FIR to trial, appeal, and rehabilitation.
Eligibility & Qualifications• Minimum 2 years of previous litigation experience.
• Updated knowledge of the new criminal codes and victim-centric jurisprudence.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Desirable: LL.M. (Criminal Law) or an equivalent Master’s degree, and experience working with grassroots organizations.
Key Responsibilities• Lead and oversee all litigation-related work under the VAP.
• Supervise and mentor Litigation Fellows and Paralegals.
• Make routine visits to courts across Delhi for case management.
• Ensure effective implementation of victim-centric strategies under the new criminal laws.
