About the JobThe role involves independent review of legal documents (MoUs, NDAs, LOEs), grant agreements, stakeholder negotiations, maintaining internal trackers, and providing comprehensive legal research and query support.
Eligibility & Experience2 to 3 years of experience within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Qualified LLB or Master’s in Law (LLM).
Preferred: Primary emphasis on laws applying to non-profits.
• Strong understanding of environmental, sustainability, and strategic areas relevant to WRI India.
• High standards of integrity, ethics, and seasoned communication/negotiation skills.
Work Profile & ResponsibilitiesDocument Review: Independently reviewing contracts, MoUs, NDAs, and grant agreements for compliance.
Negotiation: Handling multi-level internal and external negotiations and collaborating with program teams, funders, and vendors.
Trackers: Maintaining accurate trackers for Grants, MoUs, and NDAs.
Legal Research: Gathering relevant statutes, regulations, and case law, and synthesizing findings into clear reports.
Query Assistance: Providing timely support to internal stakeholders on legal matters.
Salary / CompensationINR 9,50,000 to 12,50,000 per annum (Commensurate with experience/skills, plus a generous and comprehensive benefits package).
