About OrganisationThe Department of Legal Affairs (established in 1961) is a critical department under the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, handling legal advice, conveyancing, and litigation for the Central Government.
Eligibility & Qualifications• Indian students who have passed the 2nd year (of a 3-year LLB) OR the 3rd year (of a 5-year LLB).
• Law Graduates who have completed their degree are also eligible.
Preferred: Advanced knowledge of computers (MS Office, infographics, Adobe).
Duration & Schedule1 Month (Commencing from the first working day of the month).
• Full-time, offline mode (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
• 90% attendance is strictly mandatory.
Job LocationMultiple Locations Available:
• Main Secretariat New Delhi / Supreme Court / Delhi HC.
• Branch Secretariats at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.
Honorarium₹1,000/- (Provided upon satisfactory completion of the internship)
Key Terms & Conditions• Interns must make their own accommodation arrangements.
• Mandatory dress code: Formal black trousers with a white shirt.
• Interns must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
• A monthly report must be submitted at the end of the tenure.
