Note: Answer all the five questions. Each question carries 4 marks. Very short answer is required not exceeding 75 words. 5 x 4 = 20

- “Economics is neutral between ends?” Do you agree with this statement? “अर्थशास्त्र उद्देश्यों के प्रति तटस्थ है।” क्या आप इस कथन से सहमत हैं?
- Distinguish between Gross Domestic Product and Net Domestic Product. सकल घरेलू उत्पाद एवं शुद्ध घरेलू उत्पाद में अन्तर कीजिये।
- What is meant by Privatisation? निजीकरण से क्या आशय है?
- What do you meant by Joint sector? संयुक्त क्षेत्र से आप क्या समझते है?
- What do you mean by gender inequality? लैंगिक विषमता से आपका क्या आशय है?

- Write the difference between real economics and welfare economics. वास्तविक अर्थशास्त्र और कल्याणवादी अर्थशास्त्र में अंतर लिखिए।
- Explain elements affecting demand. माँग को प्रभावित करने वाले तत्व बताइए।
- What is the importance of national income calculation? राष्ट्रीय आय की गणना का क्या महत्व है?
Section-C (खण्ड-स) (Detailed Answer Questions) (विस्तृत उत्तरीय प्रश्न)

नोट : निम्नलिखित पाँच में से किन्हीं तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। विस्तृत उत्तर अपेक्षित है।
- Define welfare economics and distinguish it from Positive Economics. कल्याणवादी अर्थशास्त्र को परिभाषित कीजिए तथा वास्तविक अर्थशास्त्र से उसके अन्तर को स्पष्ट कीजिए।
- What is monetary policy? What are the different instruments of monetary policy? Explain. मौद्रिक नीति क्या है? मौद्रिक नीति के विभिन्न उपकरण क्या है? स्पष्ट कीजिए।
- What do you understand by large scale industries? Describe the important large scale industries in India. वृहद या बड़े पैमाने के उद्योगों से क्या आशय है? देश के महत्वपूर्ण वृहद उद्योगों का संक्षेप में वर्णन कीजिए।
- Explain the concept of cross elasticity of demand and income elasticity of demand. माँग की आड़ी लोच एवं माँग की आय लोच की धारणाओं को स्पष्ट कीजिए।
- “India is a rich country inhabited by poor people” Discuss. “भारत एक धनी राष्ट्र है जिसमें गरीब लोग निवास करते है।” समझाइए।
