The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), India’s premier law school, is hiring for four (4) positions of Clinic Co-Directors to lead its diverse legal clinics (Labour Law, Criminal Justice, Caste Justice, and Citizenship & Immigration Law).

| Eligibility & Qualifications | • Graduate degree in Law (LLB) with valid enrollment in any State Bar Council. • Experience: Minimum 6 years of combined experience in litigation, legal research, or clinical legal education. • Demonstrated practical court experience across the country. • Desirable: LLM, prior clinical teaching experience, and proficiency in Kannada/other Indian languages. |
| Key Responsibilities | • Clinical Teaching: Co-developing and teaching a credit-bearing clinical course. • Litigation: Designing strategies, building a roster of legal aid cases, and mentoring fellows. • Programme Management: Supervising the clinic’s team and partnering with civil society/legal services authorities. • Research: Executing a comprehensive policy-oriented research plan. |
