About the JobThe Manager will primarily support the implementation of the Karnataka Fellowship program. This includes overseeing community engagement, outreach, grievance redressal, litigation, and meticulous documentation of the work done in Karnataka.
Eligibility & Experience (Essential)At least 5 years of litigation experience in Karnataka.
• Mandatory fluency (particularly in writing) in Kannada and English.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to take ownership of a project and manage end-to-end execution.
• Ability to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team.
Desirable Qualifications• Previous experience in Kannada research and content writing.
• Prior experience working on fellowship programs, community-based initiatives, or grassroots legal projects is a strong advantage.
Work Profile & ResponsibilitiesFellowship Management: Onboarding, orienting, and guiding Samvidhaan Fellows, including content review and legal helpdesk oversight.
Outreach & Partnerships: Building partnerships with local organizations, legal aid providers, and community groups.
Content Creation: Drafting relevant legal resources and campaign content (online/offline) in coordination with the team.
Coordination: Managing timely responses on the Ask Nyaaya WhatsApp Helpline and connecting community members with legal aid.
Project Implementation: Planning and executing collaborations with governmental and non-governmental bodies in Karnataka.
Documentation: Creating reports, case studies, and community stories reflecting the fellowship’s impact.
